From July 1996 until its launch in October 1998, NetPotential undertook a
broad-range communications program to support "the Elevated Wetlands," a
functioning ecological artwork located in Toronto by the Don Valley Parkway
and Don River. This included the development and maintenance of the project's
Web site on a limited budget.
This project was supported by the Canadian Plastics Industry Association's
Plastics + Art initiative along with many other corporate sponsors from within
the plastics sector and beyond, as well as by the community. Media coverage
and community awareness was extensive.
