SPOTLIGHT 2001

ONPHA represents about 700 non-profit housing corporations across Ontario to federal, provincial, and municipal governments and delivers a full array of member services.

ONPHA's Web site launched in 1997 to service members and stakeholders.  It was maintained externally and growing organically.

Three years later, ONPHA was facing a changing environment as the administration of non-profit housing funding programs was devolving from the federal and provincial governments to municipalities.

The Web site was key to servicing members and stakeholders throughout the province, so it was imperative to make this growing resource easy to navigate and easier to maintain in-house.

NetPotential produced the redevelopment strategy and guided its implementation, advising and coaching client staff as needed.

The OPC serves to advise the Minister of Education. Its Web site is the central communications tool for sharing information with parents and school councils. It aims to encourage parents to become actively involved in their children's education by providing information on relevant issues and resources.

Initially launched in April 2001, a change in staff and board spurred a new direction to the site. NetPotential was hired to revisit the content, architecture and design, and to integrate the new government's visual identity standards that were coming into play.
