The second annual PricewaterhouseCoopers World Economic Forum global Chief Executive Officer survey found that the vast majority of CEOs agree that knowledge management is critical to the success of their companies.

54 per cent believe that
e-commerce will significantly change the industry they are currently in.

35 per cent of North American CEOs use the Internet on a regular basis compared to 20 per cent of European CEOs. Just under 22 per cent of American CEOs had not gone online in the last month.

802 CEOs were interviewed from Europe, North America, Latin America and Asia during July, August and September of 1998.
