A key component of the Ontario government’s strategy “Building Aboriginal Economies”was the development of a cross-government Web site.
NetPotential created the Web site strategy, and subsequently produced all the original content, while directing the design and production of the site, which was launched in October 1999.
The site’s objective was to facilitate access to public information about Aboriginal economic development, partnerships, starting a business, case studies, and to relevant government programs and services. The site was designed to be accessible to a broad-range of users with various computer configurations and limitations.To assist the ongoing development of the site by the client and others, a content management system was built.
