ELON ALTAR

Elon Altar is a Web Communications Coordinator, recruited in 1997 by NetPotential Communications, after completing a cooperative education internship there.

In the fall of 1999, Elon entered the University of Toronto. While pursuing his university studies, Elon continued to develop his online communications and Web publishing skills with NetPotential. Now, an advocate of NetPotential's approach to Internet communications, Elon is an integral part of the company's team.

With a particular interest in the environmental sector, Elon coordinated media relations activities for several of the Environment and Plastics Industry Council's Plasti-Lab tours and served as lead Media Coordinator for the Festive Earth Society's third annual Clean Up the Don Campaign and Living Rivers Festival. Elon also has fulfilled a variety of public relations functions as communications advisor to Winter Wonders Inc., as well as for Adrienne Jones PR, including coordinating the Media Centre at the 2001 Environment and Energy Conference in Toronto.
